About Me:

Hi, I’m Cara Ann. I’m a perinatal mental health therapist dedicated to supporting couples and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. With specialized training in both perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and couples therapy, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care that will help you navigate the stress overload during an emotionally intense season.

I believe your feelings make sense and that support can make a meaningful difference. You can keep your love protected, and provide a healthy template for your baby, even though you also are juggling new roles and logistics. I know how to provide space for grief as well as joy. Together we will look at the reality that 67% percent of new postpartum couples experience a drop in their relationship satisfaction.

Using my clinical expertise, developed over the last seven years in order to provide perinatal relationship care, I will guide you towards finding strengh in vulnerability. Using my personal experience, I will bring my authenticity and humor as a proud mama of two and a lover of play. I will address attachment changes, identiy shifts, birth trauma, and postpartum depression and anxiety that might occur for both partners.

Savor your first five with me. Learn to signal your partner and share emotions in a new way. Pass on a legacy of emotional intelligence.

We will build love maps, enhance your friendship, and connect with your values.

Grow under the wing of your new-found compassion for what it takes to grow in this world. I know firsthand that relationships can be both exquisite and incredibly challenging.

Growth happens with the right conditions. It’s our inevitable birthright.

Bond, heal, play…

You are welcome here, in all of your variations. You are wired for love and connection. There’s no way to get this wrong.
