About Me:

Healing Happens at the Speed of Trust”

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, a mother of two, and someone who has navigated her own chapters of  loss and reinvention.  I bring both professional training and lived humanity to every session I hold.

My Story

I became a therapist because I believe deeply in the transformative power of being witnessed without judgement.  That belief didn’t come only from textbooks.  It came from my own life.

Along side my educational journey, that I took in order to sit in the the therapists seat, are my large stack of journals inked with my highly sensitive struggles and dreams. Some of those dreams are still coming true, as I imagine us meeting, and some are those already completly transformative milestones, like becoming a mom of two incredible kids who teach me every single day about curiosity, courage, and the art of starting over.

A single mom. A divorcee. That was a chapter that I was undoubtly NOT expecting. Going through a divorce was one of the most disorientating and ultimately clarifying experiences of my life.  It motivated me to help other highly sensitive people to avoid the impasse and to build resilience. I know first hand what it is to grieve a future you’d always imagined, and to slowly, messily rebuild a sense of self.

I don’t sit across from my clients as someone who has it all figured out.  I sit with them as someone who knows the terrain and what is truly at stake. I’ve done the hard work.  I know how terrifying and how necessary it is to look deeply at negative cyles, fears, and longings.   I don’t ask anything of my clients that I haven’t been willing to ask of myself. I understand the strange, quiet courage it takes to ask for help.

How I Work

My approach weaves together established, evidence-based modalities including EFT and IFS, with genuine warmth and deep respect for your unique experience.  No two people-and no two sessions-look exactly alike. What you can expect is consistent support in learning how to befriend your inner world, and then how to share it.

Beyond the Office

When I’m not in session, you’ll find me on the sidelines of a gymnastics meet with an blueberry kombucha, nerding out on personal or relationship development books, or dancing the 5 Rhythms with my local mindful movement group.
